As a special celebration of Advent this year, St. Paul will hold evening worship services at 7 pm on the three Tuesdays before Christmas (December 5, 12 and 19).
Evening service, or Vespers, is based on an ancient practice of the church and is a quiet, candlelit time of peaceful music and prayers. If you find yourself feeling stressed, anxious, or sad during this season, you may find that the Vespers service helps you to focus on Christ’s love and care for us and for our troubled world. The order of service for Dec. 5 is in the viewer below, if you would like to know what the experience is like.
