The Reading Council of Churches is hosting a workshop on Saturday, November 10, designed specifically for grandparents and other extended family members who are raising children in place of their biological parents due to drug addictions.
The event is free and will feature guest speakers from organizations who specialize in accompanying and equipping children whose parents are addicted to heroin, and their families who care for them.
The workshop will end with a prayer service at which we will entrust those we love addicted to heroin, their children, our families, and our community to God.
