Congregational Meeting July 30

Our quarterly congregational meeting will be held July 30 after worship.

On the agenda is an update to our congregation’s constitution, in order to bring it into line with the ELCA’s Model Constitution, which is updated every three years.

Below are a letter from Pastor Emily introducing the changes suggested by the ELCA, and a document containing our current constitution with the proposed changes marked in blue text. (There is a legend at the end of Pastor’s letter explaining exactly how the changes are marked.)

The congregation will vote on the proposed amendments at the July 30 quarterly meeting. If you have any questions about this process, the old constitution, or the new one, please consider attending one of the Q&A sessions which will be held after worship on July 9 and 16. You can also speak with Pastor or contact any member of Council.
