P: If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins, God who is faithful and just will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Second Lesson: Romans 9:1-5

The Nicene Creed
A: Let us confess our common faith with all Christians throughout time and place, using the words of the Nicene Creed.

A: Jesus commands us as his disciples to give those in need something to eat (Mt. 14:16). We follow his command when we give our offering so that needy, weary hearts, might be fed by God’s Word.
