Wednesday, March 21: Psalm 119:9-16

No pow’r of hell, no scheme of man,
Can ever pluck me from His hand;
Till He returns or calls me home—
Here in the pow’r of Christ I’ll stand.

From the hymn “In Christ Alone” by Keith Getty & Stuart Townend

The word of God is alive, and should be meditated on daily: to keep our paths true, to open our eyes to the unseen, and to saturate our heart, mind, and spirit with wisdom that strengthens us for the trials of this life.

Our soul is nourished and can delight in God’s Word so that worldly things cannot overcome us.

We know and recognize that our loyalty to faith-filled righteousness can only be maintained when we place value on God’s word.

Blessed are you, O Lord! Thank you for your living Word.

We pray Psalm 119:57-58: You are my portion, O Lord; I have said that I would keep your words. I entreated your favor with my whole heart; be merciful to me according to your word. Amen.
