Join us for two wonderful one act plays sure to generate discussion.

In the classic Trifles by Susan Gladspell we uncover a turn of the century murder. Farmer John Wright has been strung up with a rope around his neck. No one was around but his quiet and unassuming wife, Minnie Wright. Join us as we investigate this murder based on true events and themes that still ring true almost a hundred years later.

The Best Mistake by Jim Knable follows Becky, her embarrassing father, Roy and high-school boyfriend Roy. When Becky brings her boyfriend home, the last thing she expects it to be is the best mistake she has ever made. When Roy becomes a hero to boyfriend, Will, things look bad. And when Becky’s drama teacher assigns them Hamlet to present and Roy bursts in on Becky and Will rehearsing, only to recite from the play as the accomplished actor he was before he opened his furniture store, things look worse. Then Becky asks her dad to read from the play and discovers he can’t, and things get much more complicated. Follow us in this funny and touching story.
