“Find Love 2020 – The 4 L’s of Stewardship” is the theme for our fall Stewardship Appeal. This theme expresses what can happen when even the smallest gesture is shown to someone/something. This theme, also, reflects the outpouring of love that occurs within this congregation as we seek to spread God’s Word.
Our grateful response to the many blessings God has bestowed on St. Paul is to give our best so that God’s Kingdom can be expanded. As we pull together and give generously to support the work of the Church, we can fulfill our mission of spreading God’s word to the community and the world.
In the next few weeks you will hear more about the exciting new ministries that are planned for 2021. Through newsletter articles, a brochure, self-mailers, temple talks, and letters St. Paul will keep you informed of our congregation’s goals for the coming year.
As part of the Stewardship program this year, a letter will invite you to consider increasing your offering for next year. Please prayerfully consider this request and respond as generously as the Lord leads you.
Then on “Appeal Commitment Sunday”, Nov. 15, we will present our Statement of Intent cards during the worship service. You may also mail or e-mail your Statement of Intent to the church office if you are not present on “Appeal Commitment Sunday.”
People who have not responded by November 15 will be contacted so that everyone will have the opportunity to present their offering plan for the coming year.
Thank you for being a part of this wonderful and exciting congregation. Prayerfully think about our common work together, made possible by the generosity of this congregation, that
will allow us to continue to spread God’s word.
Sincerely in Christ,
